Natural tree round (cookie) coffee table
Beautiful maple tree round (or “cookie”) showcases multiple knots from a number of small trees growing together in a cluster. Two walnut bowties contrast the lighter maple wood and stabilize a crack that formed during the drying process. All the knots and small cracks are filled with black resin to stabilize the imperfections while adding a contrasting color to accentuate the natural features of this cookie.
Sanded to 220 and finished with a hard oil and wax combination. This would be a great coffee table in a small room or side table in a larger room.
It is about 32” x 26” and is 17 3/4” tall.
